Charity Partnerships

As a father to two young children, Chris has a special connection with UNICEF and the important work the organisation carries out globally. He has been supporting them since 2009, first through his role as an International Inspiration Ambassador for London 2012’s International Legacy Programme, and then from 2013 when he was announced UNICEF UK Ambassador in recognition of his continued and tireless support of their work. Chris has visited programmes in Malawi and Madagascar, as well as supporting several campaigns including UNICEF UK’s Children of Syria emergency appeal, the East Africa nutrition crisis and their Family Reunion campaign.

Chris is proud to be SAMH’s Ambassador for mental health and well-being, a role he has held since 2009. He believes talking about our mental health should be as easy as talking about our physical health and is therefore a great supporter of the work SAMH carry out in communities across Scotland.

Laureus is a global movement that celebrates the power of sport to bring people together as a force for good. Chris became a member of the Laureus World Sports Academy in 2017 and saw it as a huge honour. Having had such an incredible impact on his life, he is passionate about using sport to help youth and takes a huge amount of pride in supporting Laureus Sport For Good.
